The Plastic Beach website featured the Plastic Beach Web Game and other nice touches, like different tasks to do at Plastic Beach. The new website, launched in 2010, was similar to the prior Kong Studios website but was instead set in Gorillaz new home Plastic Beach.

Soon after the website didn't update as much prior to Noodle’s disappearance. Then in 2006 the Phase Two: Slowboat To Hades DVD was released which showed Kong in the state that it was in at the time. Soon after Murdoc left Kong to venture around the world. 2-D left to get a law degree and Russel left to remix different Gorillaz songs. Soon after the joy and somewhat peace of Kong left with her, causing the place to fall apart over time. The website was properly functioning from 2004-2005, until the dramatic incident in the El Mañana Video, where Noodle had been presumed dead. The new now had a newly renovated version of Kong Studios where the color of the walls and room had changed. Along with the reopening of the website on December 4th 2004 new rooms were added to Kong, including The Hell Hole and The Bunker. The phase two Kong Studios was probably the most unfortunate time for the website. Post the abandonment of Kong a porta cabin was put in place to work as a control Center. Kong eventually closed down on October 31st 2002.

The Phase one Kong Studios only lasted until 2002, when the band left Kong to go work on a movie in LA, America. The visitor could also find other rooms in Kong, including The Cinema, Cafe and The Studio. was originally set in Kong Studios where the player/ visitor could go around Kong to explore and find each band members room, which normally featured games and little extras. The Gorillaz website originated as the place where new Gorillaz fans could go to check out the fictional world of Gorillaz.
